Preventative Maintenance

An inspection is one of the basic and the most essential part of your HVAC preventive care. Many home owners fail to check their HVAC systems regularly, which is why it surprises them when the equipment suddenly malfunctions and a minor problem left unattended becomes a major repair bill due to neglect.

Proper maintenance means keeping your system running at peak performance while keeping you as comfortable as possible, saving you money and making less pollution and less waste.  Our comprehensive services are the best way to maintain and clean your system.  Our meticulous record keeping lets us both know when parts are not performing at their peak performance level.  A well maintained system will give your units a longer life span.

Preventative maintenance allows for peace of mind during frigid winter spells and very hot summers.  With our extensive inspection of all your system's operating components, we can find potential problems before they occur saving you any inconveniences and money in the long run.

Preventative Maintenance Tune Up includes:

  • check volts/amps on fan motor
  • flush condensate drain(s)
  • clean condenser coil and inspect for possible cracks/leaks (Spring)
  • check refrigerant levels (Spring and Fall with Heat Pumps)
  • tighten/inspect all electrical connections
  • inspect contactor(s) for burned or pitted contacts
  • test/inspect capacitor(s)
  • inspect fan blade
  • clean evaporator coil and inspect for possible cracks/leaks
  • inspect burners for blockage and corrosion (Fall)
  • visually inspect heat exchanger for cracks with camera, and measure Carbon Monoxide readings   (Fall)
  • check proper operation of thermostat
  • replace 1 inch filters at no charge

Preventative Maintenance Plans

We offer residential and commercial Preventative Maintenance plans. They are yearly contracts.

  • Residential: 2 visits per year. Seniors over 60 receive an additional 5% off of any repairs.
  • Commercial: 4 visits per year or more if required. Call us to schedule a site survey.

When you sign up for our service you receive benefits beyond our service program. If your system is in need of repair,   you will receive 10% off of our flat rate pricing.
